Controller & purpose
Arvellan Ltd is the controller for its own recruitment enquiries. Company number 17064188; registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Privacy contact: contact@arvellan.co.uk. We use application information to understand your experience, assess a relevant fit, communicate with you and manage recruitment discussions.
Information & required fields
The application form asks for contact details, country of residence, professional field, experience, education, areas of interest, location preferences, languages, availability, an optional professional link, your introduction and a CV. Required fields are marked. Provide only relevant professional information. Do not include passport copies, bank information, medical details, criminal-record information or other unnecessary sensitive data in a general application.
Lawful bases
We process information needed to consider a specific requested role as steps towards a potential contract. General introductions, recruitment administration and proportionate records are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in assessing relevant professional relationships and maintaining a fair recruitment process. A separate optional choice is provided if you want your profile considered for future opportunities for up to 12 months; that additional retention relies on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Access & sharing
Applications are available only to people who need to assess or administer them, relevant shared administrative support and hosting/email providers. Shared enquiry handling may use OAA Ventures administrative infrastructure. We do not automatically circulate your CV to all representative offices. If a proposed role is with another entity, the identity of that entity and any relevant sharing will be explained before progressing. References or additional checks are considered separately where appropriate.
Retention
For an application that does not progress, the normal retention period is up to six months after the last recruitment decision or substantive contact, unless a longer period is needed for a legal issue. If you expressly opt into consideration for future opportunities, we may retain your profile for up to 12 months from submission, unless you withdraw sooner. An accepted role requires separate employment or engagement record information. We review retained application information and remove it when it is no longer required.
Rights & decisions
We do not make recruitment decisions solely by automated means through this website. You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object where legitimate interests are used, or withdraw consent for future-opportunity retention. Conditions and exceptions may apply. Contact us using the address above; you may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. The main Privacy policy explains international processing, security and other general information.
Application expectations
A general application is an introduction, not an advertised vacancy or a promise of an interview, employment, sponsorship, remote work or a particular location. Roles and terms are confirmed separately by the relevant employing or contracting entity. Reviewed: 16 October 2026.
